Bo Krogvig is the Senior Vice President for Communications and Public Affairs for Luossavaara – Kiirunavaara Aktiebolag, LKAB. LKAB is an international and high-tech mining and minerals group that mines and upgrades the unique iron ore of northern Sweden for the global steel market. Sustainability is core to our business and our ambition is to be one of the industry’s most innovative, resource-efficient and responsible companies. The group had sales of more than SEK 23 billion in 2017 and employs about 4,100 people in 14 countries. Other group business include industrial minerals, drilling systems, rail transport, rockwork services and property management.
Mr Krogvig has served as public affairs and corporate communications adviser in 38 countries, directly advising heads of states and businesses on strategy, communications and public affairs. Mr Krogvig has a key understanding of the importance of sparking dialogue between stakeholders within both the private and public sector and in the basic as well as non-basic industry. Bo Krogvig joined LKAB in 2014.
He has two children and lives in Sundbyberg, Sweden with his wife.
