Dimitris Apostolidis
Dimitris has been working for KPMG since 2000. He is currently a Senior Manager in Advisory Services, working on Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance department.
During his employment in KPMG and until today Dimitris has been engaged in a number of projects for a variety of clients in the public and private sector including government organizations, cement manufacturing, aluminum smelting, oil and gas exploration and production, industrial minerals/ mining, retail automotive, telecommunications, broadcasting, banking and consumer goods.
His specific experience includes areas such as internal audits/ reviews and internal control, sustainability assurance (40+ projects), business process modeling, development of procedures manuals, process mapping, internal control assurance, project management, business planning, financial analysis / financial statements analysis, IAS/IFRS conversion.
He has worked on industrial projects for the private and public sector in Greece and on international projects in Albania, Egypt, Turkey, Kosovo and Albania.
He is a member of KPMG Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CC&S) Network, and KPMG Global ENR (Energy & Natural Resources) Team as well as a member of the Hellenic Institute of Internal Auditors (2009). He holds an Μ.Β.Α.
(Finance Variant) from Stirling University (1999) and a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering & Management from Dundee University (1998) as well as an ACCA Professional Part 1 (partial module, 3 courses).
